 ===== Bio ===== ===== Bio =====

+Some of the Skarrd have developed a
+fascination with the incredible array of
+poisons, chemicals, and their vile toxic materials
+that surround them. So consumed are they with
+hate for their foe that they crave the most vicious
+possible ways to dispatch them. The use of poisons and
+other chemicals gives them a regular opportunity to exercise
+their sick obsession with observing the torturous demise of their victims.
+These individuals form the core of the Toxic Cult, one of the few cooperative
+groups amongst the Skarrd. Members of
+the Toxic Cult all fancy themselves
+chemists of one kind or another,
+and usually begin at a very early
 +age experimenting with poisons,
 +viral contaminants, acids, and
 +any other damaging chemical
+they can find. Most of their
 +experiments are performed on
+wild beasts they are able to capture,
 +although they usually have little
 +compunction about trying out
 +their chemical cocktails on
+other Skarrd if they feel they
+can get away with it. In the event that they have no suitable subject available for a test
+of their newest creation, they are even known to conduct the tests on themselves.

+The self-experimentation by members of the Toxic Cult serves to establish a sort of
+hierarchy between its members over time. As they grow into adulthood, members
+of the Cult undergo their own grim process of attrition. The most dedicated and
+fanatical members will inevitably be the ones to conduct greater numbers of tests
+on themselves. Of these, only the smartest will be capable of administering
+proper doses to themselves to get the proper results without killing themselves,
+and only the toughest can survive repeated testing. Those who live into full
+adulthood in the Toxic Cult are usually twisted and scarred from their repeated
+testing, and in most cases quite mad. On the field of battle, the few individuals
+of the Toxic Cult in the tribe that are in sufficient health to fight take the name
 +Kaustic.
 +
+They have the greatest opportunity to exercise their passion in these battles,
+bearing a weapon that most resembles a mass of needles. This Toxin Injector
+contains a combination of viruses, acids, poisons, and other deadly chemicals
+and bio-agents. Many enemies of the Kaustic do not even survive the shock
+of this chemical mélange being introduced to their system, falling dead within
 +seconds.
